Even though almost everyone at the school is already “fully vaccinated” for the Tony Fauci Virus (Covid-19), Middlebury College in Vermont is imposing another round of medical fascism in response to a handful of new “cases” that were detected on campus.
On December 9 at 5:30 p.m., the school said it “received confirmation” that there are now 34 new cases of Fauci Germs on campus. This brings the currently known total to 49 active cases, one of which involves an employee.
It is unclear if any of these cases include actual symptoms, just to be clear. Regardless, school officials are treating the situation like the Black Plague and going all-out with the tyranny.
“Contact tracing is underway, and anyone who is determined to be a close contact will be informed,” the school announced.
Effective immediately, all on-campus instruction and other activities will turn remote once again. Socialization is also off the table as students will be forced back into isolation.
In fact, the school is blaming normal human interaction on this supposed “outbreak.”
“Given the timing of this increase, coinciding with the end of the fall semester and imminent student departures, we have decided to move immediately to remote instruction and postpone in-person events,” the school further announced.
“This includes classes that meet on Friday, December 10, final exams, and all formal and informal events, including athletics competitions and performing arts.”
According to school officials, more than 99 percent of students at Middlebury are fully vaccinated. “Many” of them, officials added, have also received their booster injections.
This means that the Middlebury campus should have been fully protected against the Fauci Disease. Instead, more of it is spreading, apparently, which in a place like Vermont means that knee-jerk fearmongering is the automatic response.
“With more than 99 percent of students fully vaccinated and many already receiving booster doses, the risk of adverse health outcomes from the Delta variant is low,” the school maintains.
“Rising student cases that require isolation, ongoing transmission, and the few days remaining in the semester warrant the change to remote instruction.”
It turns out that most of Vermont is fully vaccinated, and the state is also leading the pack in terms of hospitalizations and deaths.
States like Florida with lower vaccination rates are healthy and open while near-fully vaccinated Vermont currently has some of the worst rates of hospitalization and death.
Even so, Middlebury is freaking out and doing more of the very same things that landed Vermont in this dismal state in the first place.
Students who are able to leave campus immediately are being told they should do that. Anyone who cannot just up and leave will be allowed to stay, however there are new strict testing requirements.
Any student who receives a positive test result and shows any symptoms at all is being told to “delay campus departure until they have a negative test result, unless they can drive directly to a safe location and isolate until they get a negative test result.”
“Students who test positive and can safely isolate themselves at home or another location are allowed to drive directly to that location in most cases, with approval from Health Services,” the school further says.
There will also be no more eating in any dining halls as only “grab-and-go” meals will be made available. All students will also be forced to wear a face covering at all times while on campus.
“Any informal indoor gatherings – whether on or off-campus, previously scheduled or impromptu – should not exceed six people,” the school says.
